Colombians eat an egg a day, but almost always at home, almost always in a hurry. Nobody books a table for an egg. Great restaurants don't brag about it, and food lovers don't go out looking for it.
So we took the egg to the people Colombia follows for what to eat next: 30 chefs from 30 of the country's most-loved restaurants, from Bogotá to Medellín, Barranquilla and Barichara. One brief for all of them: create a seasonal dish where the egg makes it better.
Every day for 30 days, a new restaurant, a new dish and a new film. Japanese, Peruvian, Vietnamese, pastry, pasta, Colombian comfort food, each one with its own recipe page on huevos.com.co so people could go and try it.
For a month, the egg wasn't what you eat when there's nothing else. It was the dish everyone wanted to go try.
A few of the 30. The full series is in the playlist below.
